Les Carrières du Hainaut, the Belgian leader in its sector, has been quarrying and shaping natural stone for over 135 years. We extract blocks of natural stone that are then sawn into semi-finished products, finished products and top-of-the-range finished products. These various semi-finished and finished products have been used for many decades in town furnishings, home interiors, gardens and historic monuments. Mission:

 

Together with the Commercial Director, the CEO, and marketing team, you will enthusiastically strive to give a new impulse to our marketing and communication efforts. In our sector, company image, product presentation, branding, and product positioning are paramount. To accomplish your mission, you must be a true master at marketing analyses and strategy, devising a holistic multi-year plan backed up by clear objectives in terms of increased sales for the company’s entire product range.

 

Your key responsibilities :

 

  • - Develop the marketing (multi-channel) communication strategy approach for B2B – B2C.
  • - Lead the execution of marketing plans and multi-channel campaigns (Social media, Content creation for the B2B and B2C audience).
  • Develop Ideas and suggest improvements on advertising and marketing.
  • Work with external marketing suppliers, develop creative briefs and guide creative content creation, including print, digital and video assets.
  • Participate in events and provide sales support.
  • Co-create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for new campaign development and/or campaign optimisation.
  • Support the gathering and analysis of customer and market insights, customer trends, competitors, products, and marketing best practices to build successful communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Define and manage the yearly marketing comms budget for your business line.
  • Work closely together with your marketing colleagues to assure marketing comms plan alignment, efficiency and efficacy.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan and budget to support strategy and objectives.
  • Manage the development of marketing support material for the sales representatives.
  • Manage the development and production of marketing collateral including literature, product profiles, product bulletins, sales presentations, online resources and advertising materials, support to the sales plan.

 

You Will:

 

  • Manage and grow our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Linkedin, Pinterest etc…)
  • Develop and lead the social media management process to ensure positive results, including staying up to date on social media trends and best practices, planning, creating (and or sourcing) content, and engaging with the community.
  • Analyse social media metrics to inform and optimise strategies and campaigns.
  • Experiment with new tactics to improve social media performance.

 

You are:

 

  • Someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in social media with a focus on building and growing engaged communities.
  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch, possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional languages such as Italian, Spanish and German are a plus but not a necessity.

 

You have:

 

  • A proven track record of building and engaging across a multitude of social platforms globally.
  • An ability to execute quality work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Skills that are a definite plus: Graphics design, video editing and creation.

 

Required skills:

 

  • Experience in product placement.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.
  • B2B – B2C Marketing.

 

 

Candidate profile :

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
  • 3 years minimum of proven experience in similar marketing roles.
  • Experience working for a multinational B2B organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-driven with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Prezi.
  • Experience with video, multimedia and digital content creation systems.
  • Fluent English, French and Dutch communication (both written and spoken).
  • Creative thinking and innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
